GCP builds new ramp for tenants in Hattingen

GCP has installed in the Käthe-Kollwitz-Straße 3 in Hattingen a ramp to allow residents who rely on walking aids, barrier-free access via the external staircase. GCP took over planning, implementation and all the costs of the action.

A local resident of the Käthe-Kollwitz-Straße 3 had representative appealed for more tenants to GCP and asked for a barrier-free entrance, because the stages in particular for residents with walkers pose a daily challenge. Therefore, the property management company established a permanent ramp that allows wheelchair access to the house. This approach is of great help in everyday life, among other things also for tenants with prams. "The new staircase provides a quality of life. Now tenants can easily master the stairs to the front door and are no longer dependent on outside help to get to her apartment. We are pleased that we assist and using the ramp to ensure a good quality of living for all residents on the spot, "said Katrin Petersen, spokesperson of GCP. Already last year, GCP had another ramp in the neighborhood built and financed mainly.

Frische Farbe für Hattinger GCP-Wohnhäuser

GCP investiert weiter in die Wohnhäuser in Hattingen: Im Rahmen der aktuellen Arbeiten wurden die Fassaden neu gestaltet. Dabei wurden im ersten Schritt die Oberflächen gereinigt und verputzt, anschließend erhielten sie einen neuen Anstrich.
