AROUNDTOWN PROPERTY HOLDINGS PLC ANNOUNCES CREDIT RATING UPGRADE FROM S&P
TO INVESTMENT GRADE RATING BBB

Aroundtown is pleased to announce that Standard and Poor's increased its
credit rating to BBB from its initial rating of BBB- given in December
2015. The rating increase also applies to Aroundtown's bonds.
S&P acknowledges Aroundtown's increased business stability and expanded
portfolio size with good scale and diversification. S&P additionally points
out Aroundtown's portfolio is well balanced across multiple property asset
types and regions in Germany with no dependency on a single region. S&P's
assessment is further supported by the portfolio's long lease structure and
no tenant dependency.
The outlook is stable, reflecting S&P's view that Aroundtown's portfolio,
including property acquisitions, should generate increasing recurring cash
flows.
We believe this milestone is another strong achievement which validates
Aroundtown and its management's strong track record of successfully
operating a growing portfolio as well as its dedication to maintain a
strong capital structure along its growth.
